Company

Jones Bros traces its history back to 1946, when Guy and Dillon Jones bought a used bulldozer to clear fields on their farm. Not long after, neighbors started asking Guy and Dillon to do similar work for them. That was the humble beginning of a company that would grow into one of Tennessee’s largest site, road, and bridge construction companies.

Suburban development in Nashville fueled the company’s growth in the 1950s. In 1957 the company was awarded its first state highway project. Upon Guy’s death in 1972 his son Robert Jones assumed leadership of the company. The company continued to expand in size and capability and Guy’s grandson Dale McCulloch took over as president in 1986. As Jones Bros crossed the threshold of the 21st century, the next generation of the family entered the business to carry on the family tradition of hard work done right.

Jones Bros supports customers with site preparation, asphalt and concrete paving, heavy highway construction, bridges & structures, airports, and utilities.
